Scarf Time

After I decided to make everyone's Christmas presents this year I realized that warm winter wear is not a necessity in South Florida. I kept asking myself, "What could I make my nephew when it doesn't get that cold in Florida?" Then I realized I could make him a thin skinny scarf he could use in the evening when it gets a little chilly. That is when my design was born.
It's quite easy to create. Use the 10' Knifty Knitter pink loom

Start by e-wrapping the dark green 40 times.
Switch color to the sage green and e-wrap 10 times.
Switch color to the off-white and e-wrap 20 times.
Repeat pattern until you have your desired length.

You can do so much with this pattern just by changing the colors.

New Blog

Hi everyone! I just decided to start blogging about my entry into yarn crafting. I've taken up crochet, thread crochet and loom knitting. It's been really fun to learn and I just wanted to share some of the things that I have made.

This year I decided to make Christmas ornaments for my brother-in-law. If I had known how tedious it was going to be, I probably would have started something much simpler. Lucky for me they turned out pretty nice. I got some of the patterns from a great holiday crochet book and others from my new favorite website, Ravelry.
